Women Today

I was browsing photos at http://www.pinterest.com and came across a quote that says:

“A busy, vibrant, goal-oriented woman is much more attractive than a woman who is waiting for a man to validate her existence.”

I stared at it for a few minutes. Read it once, then twice… and said, “Who needs validation?”

Nowadays, at least in most parts of the world, women are independent, competitive and self-sufficient. Women in this generation have been empowered and given the right to perform and take on roles in high esteemed organization, community groups and even in politics. Despite the old traditional ways in other parts of the world, where women are more subjective, the world has changed over time,  giving women more privileges to live a glorious life and obtain self-fulfillment. We can be known for who we are and not for who we are related to. This is no longer a man’s world! (fine, this still depends where you are.)

Women today are able to rely on themselves, think for themselves and decide for themselves.   Thanks to good education and liberation. Women can attain, obtain and sustain. The vibrant spirit, personal achievements and free world that we build for ourselves make a big difference. We know our self-worth, we have the confidence to make a difference and we possess true strength to reach great heights. That’s our women today, freed from the chains of inferiority.

No Man can validate your existence but yourself.
