Getting Rid of Toddler Clothes

It’s the beginning of 2017 and I need to declutter. I decided to start with my toddler’s closet. It is amazing how my daughter quickly outgrew most of her clothes.

I have been hoarding a lot of her clothes because I just find the tiny clothes so pretty to let go. As much as I would like to keep them all, we just don’t have the space for loads and loads of clothes (and boxes and boxes of toys! -save this topic for another day)

My daughter is turning 3 in a few months. She is now 96cm tall and weighs over 15kgs. At her age, she has been asking me frequently to let her wear a dress. She likes picking her clothes and is able to tell me which clothes are comfy and which ones are not. So I easily got rid of those that she doesn’t like and can’t wear anymore. And even after having taken out a whole lot, this is how her closet looks like.

I will need a round 2 when she is not home so I can take out more stuff. At the moment she is saying “this is mine!” to everything I take out.
